Built to Last

Yah says I am the Master. I lie not. He is all-knowing, and we are dust at his feet. There is but one road and two choices: do His will straightway or go our own way, convincing ourselves it is just. You risk the crooked path and life with the latter. Let it not be brethren. Let our steps be ordered by His conviction, His righteousness. It reigns supreme, and we are like pine needles. They are strong; water doesn’t easily penetrate its exterior. When broken, they emit a fragrant scent, pleasant and memorable. Are you broken before him? Are you walking in the fullness of His fortitude? The pine needle doesn’t easily dehydrate; it’s built perfectly to withstand the driest of environments. Whether feast or famine, remember in Him, we stand firmly planted.

Yes, the winds of unexpected change may visit us, torrential downpours of difficulties may close in, yet we rise. Be like the pine needle, water-resistant, resilient, and ready to receive much-needed sunlight when it arrives—a patient and faithful expectancy that its source will provide what it needs. Let the lifeblood of obedience pulse through your veins. He brought us this far, and more importantly, He deserves it—an obedient, humble child excited to be in their parent’s presence.

We are but dust at His feet. He is all-knowing, just, and will give us our portion, let it be life.

Quiet yourself and listen; await His instruction.

Cloaked in His shadow

The secret place awaits

Come children

Stay awhile and bask in peace,

Fertile soil we seek

Forsake the flesh

Embrace His will

He will complete

His handiwork

If we allow Him…

Obey

A small word that speaks volumes

when actions follow

Unconcerned about tomorrow

What shall we do today?

Seek Him early

Give Him the glory

It’s bigger than our story

HalleluYah!

Reflection: Ezekiel 18: Verses 31-32

"Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye." (Ezekiel 18:31-32, KJV)

Take a moment to meditate on this scripture. As we ready ourselves for Messiah's return, we must endure until the end and remain on the narrow road! Are you in Christ? Examine yourself. Time is short.
